Another Fox original - this time inspired by a kumquat tree and the launch of Italicus Rosolio de Bergamotto - a delicious traditional Italian blend of bergamot, lemon, camomile, lavender and other botanicals which produces a light spicy liqueur with a touch of bitterness.
It's a new summer classic for our repetoire - refreshing and citric with just a hint of bitterness lurking behind an almost sherbet-like flavour.
Venosa Fizz
25ml gin
25ml Italicus Rosolio de Bergamotto
50ml kumquat syrup
25ml fresh lemon juice
Tonic water
Build first four ingredients in a chilled highball glass over fresh ice. Top with tonic water and garnish with a whole kumquat.
